XFAN is proud to present its advanced electric fans to the automotive
aftermarket
So what is so special about XFAN?  It is brushless!  Brushless motor is always
known for its efficiency and performance.  The problem is when such a motor
applies to a cooling fan design, the production unit cost simply becomes too
high.  Well, not any more!  XFAN now offers an advanced and cost-effective
electric fan to the automotive aftermarket.
There are so many great features XFAN can offer.  
XFAN is highly efficient.  XFAN has an efficiency up to
90%!  A brushed cooling fan has efficiency ranged from
50% to 60%.  This means 40% to 50% of energy is
wasted!  Due to its high efficiency, XFAN has a greater
air flow to amp draw ratio.  XFAN does not have the
crazy starting current.  A brushed motor fan usually has
starting current that is twice of its continuous current.

This kind of "spike" current is not only harmful to a vehicle's electrical system but
also wasteful in energy from each start of the cooling fan.  XFAN has a current
limiter to prevent from such a "spike" to happen.  For OEM's, XFAN can be
offered as a fan that is externally controlled through a 0-5vdc signal.  Not only
that, a on/off signal can be sent to the fan to reverse the motor rotation without a
need of special relay setup.  For fuel cell industries, XFAN is especially safe
because there's no potential spark to ignite hydrogen.  XFAN's motor can be
used to develop a line of products such as water pump and air compressor.  For
electric or hybrid electric vehicles, brushless cooling fan is a must to improve the
vehicle's overall efficiency.  XFAN is available in 12V and 24V but higher
voltage can be designed in AC or DC for custom OEM products.
