| Fan Shroud |
| Fan shroud always helps. It helps air flow through more radiator surface even though the air flow is not uniformly distributed. Distance between the fan and the core surface is also an important factor. A general rule of thumb is to keep the distance at least 1" between the fan blade and the core surface.. |

| Puller VS. Pusher |
| If there's room for puller, definitely go with puller. Puller can pull some air from the "dead zone" which means more surface for air to flow through the core. "Dead zone" refers to the area located at the center section of the fan where the electric motor occupies. |

| Thru Core Mounting VS. Side Mounting Bracket |
| We highly recommend you not to go with through-core mounting even though it may be the easiest way to mount a cooling fan on a radiator. The issue is through all vibrations on the vehicle, the radiator will be damaged more or less by the mount. We highly recommend you to go with fan shroud if there's room available. If not, go with side mounting bracket. Side mounting bracket is simply a set of extenders that extend the foot mounts of the fan to the side of radiator for holdings. |
